Analyze the relationship between the plasticizing effect of the internal mixer and the temperature before
The structure of the mixing machine is relatively complex, and the raw rubber is subjected to shear stress and friction between the rotor and the chamber wall in the mixing chamber, as well as external pressure from the top bolt. During internal mixing, there is a large amount of heat generated, and the material cannot be cooled in time, so it belongs to high-temperature plastic mixing. The temperature is usually higher than 120 ℃, and even between 160-180 ℃. According to the high-temperature plasticizing mechanism mentioned above, raw rubber in the internal mixer mainly relies on strong oxidation and chain breakage at high temperatures to enhance its plasticity. Therefore, temperature is crucial, and the plasticizing effect of the internal mixer increases with the increase of temperature. When natural rubber is plasticized using this method, the temperature is generally not higher than 155 ℃, and 110-120 ℃ is more appropriate. Excessive temperature can also lead to a decrease in the physical and mechanical properties of the rubber.
